This is not a lecture. You will open your laptop, pick an AI tool stack, and build something that works. The room is set up for building, not watching slides.
Build a tool, app, agent, or automation that does something real. Could be a customer-facing demo, an internal tool, a data dashboard, a chatbot, or an AI-powered workflow. The goal is working code, not a slide deck.
Work alongside AI coding agents like Hermes, Codex, and Claude. Learn how to prompt, review, iterate, and ship faster than you can alone. Mentors will help you unblock and find the right approach.
Every team demos their build. Top projects win prizes and recognition. You leave with a working prototype, new AI skills, and connections with other builders in the Cebu tech community.
The hackathon is structured for momentum: two build sprints, pizza in between, and a final demo round. Come solo or bring a team. We will help match solo builders into teams at kickoff.

Come with a team or join one at kickoff. Every team needs at least one builder, but designers, researchers, and pitchers are welcome too.

Friday June 5, 2026. Doors open at 4:30 PM. The build starts at 5:00 PM sharp. Pizza arrives at 7:30 PM. Demos start at 9:30 PM. We wrap by 10:00 PM.

Set up your AI tools. Mentors help with API keys, environment config, and first prompts. Start building - first sprint focused on getting a core path working.

Polish your build. Add features, fix bugs, prepare your demo. Mentors help with final blockers. Start thinking about your 2-minute pitch.
Each team gets 2 minutes to demo their build. Judges evaluate on working functionality, creativity, and AI tool use. Prizes for the top three builds.
Prizes awarded. Group photos. Swap contacts. Take home what you built - all code is yours to keep and continue working on.
No AI experience required. If you can open a laptop and follow a prompt, you can build something. Bring curiosity and we will handle the rest.
